Family Owned And Operated Business

Gold City Steering and Suspension was started by husband and wife team, Lester and Nina Wilcox in September 1988. Lester was born and bred in Gympie but it was while living in Toowoomba and working for a suspension specialist there, that he saw the need in his home town for a similar business.

Gold City Steering & Suspension is very much a family business with elder Son, Mark joining the team when he left school in 1996. Mark trained in all aspects of the business to eventually take over the day to day running, allowing Lester to do what he does best – Wheel Alignments. Younger Son, Jack followed in the family tradition and joined the team in 2013 when he finished school.

With over 28 years of industry experience under our belts there’s not much we haven’t fitted or fixed in Gympie.
